Clinton, the Existential Threat

Some GOP, conservatives, and liberty lovers this election season have convinced themselves that they can simply opt out by throwing their vote to some 3rd party or writing in their preferred primary candidate who lost to salve their wounded egos. They say that they don't like Clinton or Trump and that even if Clinton is corrupt that Trump is more dangerous because he soils the virginity of conservatism or some such fanciful thing as if we have not supported many candidates that were far from…

The American Left is Evil: Orlando Shooting

The American Left is just plain evil. Not only do they not seek truth, they suppress it. Everything the Left does, including shamefully exploiting the slaughter of Americans in a nightclub, is to further their deception and their power to force their unpopular agenda down our throats.…

Memorial Day: Reflecting On Heroes

A few Memorial Days ago, I recall myself comfy on the sofa overstuffed with cookout delights, watching a documentary on TV about conscientious objectors. The program portrayed these guys as moral superiors. I thought, “You guys are able to bloviate about the evils of war and pursue careers as American artists, college…

After Cruz I Needed A Break

I am chairman of the Conservative Campaign Committee. Our mission, which we have chosen to accept, is to travel the country helping conservatives get elected. Since January, our CCC team, my wife Mary and I, have been traveling state to state campaigning for Ted Cruz. We were in Indiana when Cruz suspended his campaign. A day later, Mary and I flew back home to Florida.

Like fellow members of Cruz's army of passionate…

Good Morning Indiana and America!

Ted Cruz IN Indianapolis sign wave 2

This is it, election day in Indiana; a huge day for all who love our great country and desire not to see it continue to be transformed into something evil and unrecognizable. Our Conservative Campaign Committee team is still in Indiana campaigning for Ted Cruz. We did another sign wave yesterday evening during drive…

About the RPV Network

This "Ning" web site was established to assist the RPV with it's goal of expanding the use of Web Technology to enhance communications with and among Republicans and those who believe in it's core principles. While this is somewhat experimental, we believe it will have a positive impact on the Republican Party of Virginia.

It's a very exciting time for America. Your voices represent a bright new future for our great nation full of more opportunities for everyone, not just a select few. Together, we have created a movement that continues to gain momentum. Together, we are making history. Together, we are bringing back the American Dream. The time is now. Corruption in government is not a Left or Right problem, it is a problem for Everyone.

Its a matter of Right vs Wrong

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."

Thomas Jefferson

Looking to the future if we intend to make a difference we must include more in our focus than the elections of the political players.  We must pay attention to the legislation that is under consideration expecially as it comes up for votes and equally important are any treaties that may come up for Senate ratification.

We must be on the lookout for Presidential Executive Orders that usurp power from the Congress and in those instances demand that the Congress take action to restrain incursions and enforce the balance of power according to the Constitution.

Listed below on this page are links for the contact information for your Congressman/woman and your US Senators, please use them.  It is important that we maintain a conversation with our representatives to make our views known.

A silent citizenry are but slaves to the government as our Republic is such that for free men to remain so they must remain vigilant and exercise their voice.  Who decides?  We do!

"Every child in America should be acquainted with his own country. He should read books that furnish him with ideas that will be useful to him in life and practice. As soon as he opens his lips, he should rehearse the history of his own country."

--Noah Webster, On the Education of Youth in America, 1788

"These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman."

--Thomas Paine, The American Crises, No. 1, 1776

"We are a nation that has a government -- not the other way around. And this makes us special among the nations of the earth. Our government has no power except that granted to it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government, which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed."

--Ronald Reagan

"No morn ever dawned more favorable than ours did; and no day was every more clouded than the present! Wisdom, and good examples are necessary at this time to rescue the political machine from the impending storm."

--George Washington, letter to James Madison, 1786

"To get the inestimable good that freedom of the press assures one must know how to submit to the inevitable evil it gives rise to."

--Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America, 1835

"Let us recollect that peace or war will not always be left to our option; that however moderate or unambitious we may be, we cannot count upon the moderation, or hope to extinguish the ambition of others."

--Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 34, 1788

"The multiplication of public offices, increase of expense beyond income, growth and entailment of a public debt, are indications soliciting the employment of the pruning knife."

--Thomas Jefferson, letter to Spencer Roane, 1821
