Campaign for Liberty is co-sponsoring an event hosted by Patick McSweeney's Retsore the Founders' Vision on May 29th. We will have a full-page ad in the program and a booth dedicated to C4L. We will also be recognized on the big screen presentation on stage.

I will be another one with a garden in the front yard. Had my first one last year and was surprised at how well it did (didn't think we would grow anything) and we ended up with so much squash we were giving it away...can't say the same about tomatoes :(

That's a very good point Brad. The "commerce clause" has been the governtment curall when they want to abuse their power.

Frankly, it doesn't matter what they pass. The can (literally) regulate your food growing simply by invoking the Interstate Commerce Clause, all it takes is a few activist judges.

The government doesn't have to worry me about growing stuff in my back yard. I'm gonna put the garden right in the front yard so my neighbors can all see that I eat for free. Then I'm gonna stack my wood on the side so they can see that I heat for free as well. When they ask me why I bother I'll explain to them that the government wants you to believe that you need them. I'm trying to show you that you don't!

You really nailed it with "left to the states". Go state sovereignty!
I was praying all day yesterday that you guys would get past your differences and I'm so glad to see that prayer was answered!

Of course we can't agree on everything - the enemy wants to use differences to divide us. Right now, the economy is the main thing. When the derrivative bubble pops it will be the ONLY thing. Millions will be asking who did this to us and how do we fix it? We better have the right answers. (Hint: It aint a one world currency!)

Those prison inmates used to make for good cheap labor before we decided we knew better than our founding fathers what constituted cruel and unusual punishment.

I agree with you on a lot and disagree with you on some things Dan. The biggest problem with the abortion issue is that the courts took the debate out of the hands of the people.

I do agree that with issues that we disagree on, at least if they are left to the states we can see what works and what doesn't.

In my opinion that Liberty use say you would like to see others flourish in that we have now is being tested everyday. Which is why it is good to have groups and people who are willing to stand up and say enough already. I want to give my daughter a brighter future then the dim one that our children seem to be destiined for. I am not for socialism, that is not what America is about though there are those in power who are pushing us that way. I do not want my child to be leaving my house and incur debts that she is unable to pay off and which will then be passed on to her children and so forth.
