Local Office Candidate Qualifications
There will be several local offices on the ballot in November 2009. What qualities would you look for in a candidate for local office who is seeking your endorsement or vote?

I am looking for candiates who share my Republican Views especially in the area of lowering real estate taxes, controling city spending on useless projects. We really need candiates who know how to do some belt tighting and are willing to listen to what the city tax payers think about useless projects.

Thanks Gale. I hope to compile answers like yours and others that committee members will contribute into a questionaire we can use when interviewing potential candidates.
