Congratulations Prince William County Republican Committee!

On Saturday December 5th at the 2009 Don Huffman Annual Advance in Williamsburg the Republican Party of Virginia awarded PWCRC the Best Unit Award for the 11th Congressional District. You continued to grow your unit, you made an outstanding effort during the campaign in door knocking, phone banking, supporting all of the candidates and the proof is in the remarkable 34 point turnaround from last year in the general election. You won big for the McDonnell/Bolling/Cuccinelli ticket and brought home 4 out of 5 Delegate seats!! Whooooh..Hhoooh..GO PWCRC.!!

Hi All,

Thank you all so much, for all of your hard work, both at the polls Tuesday and all throughout this long campaign season!! Savor your victory, but know this, the battle has just begun to restore honor, fiscal responsibility, family and moral values, sense of personal responsibility and limited government in our America.

Prince William’s remarkable turn around signifies us as the Lexington of the 21st century. This shot has been heard ‘round the world. There will be many battles ahead in the coming years as we reclaim the country that our Founding Fathers envisioned. We will need to work together to continue at the grassroots precinct level to assure our success in the future.

Here are attached some of the totals from Tuesday's election, enjoy them, but remember we are never more than one year away from crushing defeat, if we don’t maintain our vigilance and work hard. Freedom is not free, it comes with the responsibility to protect and defend it against all enemies, both foreign and domestic!

With your help we have accomplished an amazing result. Prince William County went from down 16 points in the last year's general election to plus 18 points this year!! That is a 34 point swing in just one year. You all deserve a BIG pat on the back.

Deborah - you are correct as usual. As most folks take a political break from Thanksgiving to just after the new year we should use this time to recharge and get prepared for elections next November. In '08 as most likely Obamania helped Connolly get elected if the economy has not shown great improvement Keith could become the beneficiary.

We should all take just a few days to recuperate and then jump back in and start working on 2010. Keith Fimian's going to need our help, and you all know we need to help Keith oust Connolly.

I agree with BowlMeOverVA - After seeing O.P.'s and Tom's vehicles parked at Lyle's "shack", I mean PWCGOP headquarters most nights on my way to the store for the boss back home I felt guilty not giving more time.

Rafael Lopez admitting himself not very seasoned it was inspirational observing as his campaign treasurer how sincerely he connected to people. His calm demeanor compensated well against his more oratorical superior opponent. Rich Anderson's going to make a wonderful delegate. Knocking on doors together I got to watch how effective on folks was his homespun charm. It didn't matter how long someone chose to burn his ears Rich just patiently listened before expressing his views which did not change from house to house.

While not a candidate working along side one whether phone calling or walking neighborhoods are without question among the most enjoyable aspects of grassroots politics.

Hello Fellow Republicans,

I am looking for a steady and dedicated base of teenagers and college students to help us get the county ready for the ucoming November election.
If you have children in this age range, or are yourself in this category, please email me via the RPV Network or at my personal email, cjohns6@radford.edu.
We are looking for helpers to go door-to-door, make phone calls, bundling literature, and other related activities.
Let's get our teens excited and involved!

Any idea how many delegates from PWC are headed to the convention in Richmond?
