Purpose:

We are building a more durable Veterans Coalition in Virginia. One which will span multiple election cycles and hopefully have more impact on the political scene. We are open to all Virginia Veterans AND ACTIVE DUTY TROOPS. You DO NOT have to be a member of the Republican Party, but it is encouraged. We expect that most Veterans generally agree with the Conservative message of the Republican Party, although we are not always in "lock step" with all candidates and all issues. So, if you consider yourself an Independent or even a conservative leaning non-partisan, we welcome you to this RPV Network Veterans Coalition.

I was watching FOX News yesterday then this topic was discussed. What are these idiots thinking. The American Veteran is the most loyal American around and will continue to be. Those of us that have taken the oath have sworn to that since the American Revolution and continue to do that to this day. It is appalling to think that the White House thinks this way. This is the Change he spoke of?

Hey, congratulations War Vets, apparently we are now homeland security risks according to DHS. I just don't understand how they can label us homeland security risks when we are the few that have actually wore the uniform of this nation. How dare anyone suggest that we are a threat when we have fought for over two hundred years to keep this nation safe and free...it makes me sick.

Check out the "Events" to see info about an Armed Forces Day Picnic at Newport News Park on May 9th. Lots of good food, politics, and a day of appreciation for our troops.

Hussein has dropped the charges against the captured Muslim jihadist behind the USS Cole bombing, who has been held at GITMO. Here's video of the mother of one of the sailors killed in that attack, who now regrets voting for Hussein and refused to meet with him...her daughter says Hussein should be impeached--I agree:

Conservative myself is it possible other Republicans regarding themselves less so could find acceptance within the GOP? Considerations such as this must be addressed if the Republican Party is going to grow. Our current unfortunate circumstances were self inflicted because we drove away people not fanatically conservative/right wing. Adhering to such rigidity especially turns of the young.

I am hearing lots of noise over BHO administration dropping all charges against imprisoned terrorists at GTMO. Anyone else hearing this? My sources are retired military like myself who belong to various Military groups. Would like to pull the thread on this one, I sure hope it is not true. Bad enough he wants to shut down GTMO, but dropping all charges and letting these guys go is above and beyond.

I got this from an admired political source in PA 12th Dist: "We'll take the prisoners if they'll take Murtha."
