Hi everyone...I am in the president of the newly formed/charter Louisa Country Republican Women's Club. We were recognized by VFRW at the June meeting. We are growing fast in numbers and are participating in several events in the county to assist our GOP ticket in getting the information out.

I'm in Stafford County near Geico -- any groups around there I should hook up with?

Thanks, Rebecca! I'm headed to smartgirlpolitics right now to check it out!

And yes, the Republican Women Central is posted under events here on RPVNetwork. Next stop on the Red Dog Express, getting a new group started on here as well.

And to Tom, thanks for keeping all of this going for everyone!

Congratulations, Lynn! That's terrific! Have you joined us at http://smartgirlpolitics.ning.com? That's the kind of leadership I would love for all women in the Southeast group to see!

And make sure you put that in the Events section here on RPVNetwork!

Congrats again!!

It is extrememly important that we build our county party by increasing membership. Please attend and bring like-minded friends, neighbors and family to the Fairfax County Republican Committee January meeting on Jan. 22nd at 8pm at West Springfield High School. Details are posted under the Events section of this network. See you there!

Hi all! My name is Rebecca and I am also a group leader in the Conservative Women's Network, Smart Girl Politics (as well as being a proud resident of Falls Church!) I hope you all will come and join us as http://smartgirlpolitics.ning.com and join the Southeast group, as well as any other groups that interest you (I am group leader for SGP Youth, for instance... anyone under 39 around??? Join the Youth Campus!).

This group is great, and I will definitely be joining you all in these discussions. I am a PROUD former McCain-PALIN 08 staffer - Deputy National Youth Director... and being able to be a part of history, serving for Gov. Palin, was something I am so proud of. We need to be able to keep that power and energy going... across the nation, and here in Virginia!

In a way, the media and academia ARE teaching - however, it's only their version/opinion (while avoiding many facts) that is being fed to the masses. It's time that we and our party as a WHOLE get out there and start teaching the FACTS about who we are and in what we believe. A key factor in this education/advertising process, though, is that our elected officials who bear the 'R' after their names actually must follow and act on these conservative principles to be examples of these values. As Pres. Reagan said, it's time to be bold colors not pale pastels. (No more 'RINOs'!)

We can't be "Democrat-lite" to succeed...and we can't sit by quietly on the sidelines and moan about what's happening to us. While I was raised to be a 'Southern Lady' who doesn't create friction/discord, - especially regarding politics - I won't be silent anymore for the sake of ' good will'. I truly believe our national heritage and future is at stake during these dangerous & uncertain times. It's time to step up and take the reins - starting in our own local communities and expanding to the national community. Start thinking about what you/we CAN do, and start from there - be pro-active!
