For those who have not seen me inflict myself upon them, I have stepped up and announced my Republican candidacy for the Lee Hill District. I'm here to tell you, dear readers, that it really is a lot of fun, so don't be shy. I could REALLY use a School Board running mate. :)

Now that the time for Republican ballot candidates has closed, we are in camapign mode through November ...
Congratulations to Chris Yakabouski and DJ McGuire for being our two candidates for supervisor in the Battlefield and Lee Hill Districts!
We have been approached by several people interested in running for school board (which is an Independent position by law), so stay tuned for more information there! You have less than 2 weeks to file (and gather 150 signatures) if you're interested in filing as a school board representative. The State Board of Elections has all the papers you need to fill out available online.
... and Yes- we will consider endorsing you if you meet our criteria.
Do you really want your taxes raised again even when we have fewer students than previous years? Our school board needs YOU and your FRIENDS to put a fiscally responsible candidate forward NOW. -
