Delegate, 96th House District

I have been working with the conservative movement in Virginia for about 15 years. My husband and I led the kNOw Campaign against higher taxes and unelected regional governments in Hampton Roads during the 2002 referendum. We also led the successful statewide marriage amendment campaign in 2006. In 1996, I encouraged Jo Ann Davis to run for the 96th District House seat which she won in 1997. When Jo Ann went to Congress in 2000, I worked to help get Melanie Rapp elected to that seat. When Melanie announced her retirement last year, I threw my hat into the ring and won the District with 57% of the vote. Thanks to so many of you for your help and prayers both during my campaign and since my election. There is no way any one person can do this alone. I have a great team of supporters and I apppreciate every one of you.
