Keith S. Fimian is Chairman and Founder of U.S. Inspect, LLC, the nation’s leading provider of property inspection services. From its headquarters office in the suburbs of Washington, DC, U.S. Inspect has become the dominant inspection services company in the United States producing more than 150,000 inspection reports annually for clients involved in all facets of real estate. U.S. Inspect operates in three principal market segments: (1) Residential Services, which serves residential home buyers in 18 states; (2) Commercial Services, which serves banks, REITS, brokers as well as buyers and sellers of commercial properties and (3) Corporate Services, which serves corporate America in all 50 states and has the distinction of inspecting the homes of 80% of all corporate transferees being relocated nationally. Keith was the company’s Chairman and CEO from its founding in 1986 until before his run for the United States Congress in 2008. He is currently responsible for the company’s long term business strategy, key client relationships and new business initiatives. Prior to founding the Company, Keith worked for seven years with the international accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick where he did a rotation in the firm’s Executive Offices in New York City and served as Senior Manager. A certified public accountant, Keith received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he earned a full four year athletic scholarship and captained the football team.
Keith is President of the Washington DC-based Youth Leadership Foundation, which was founded in 1997 as a supplemental academic and character formation program to serve disadvantaged youth in our nation’s capital. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Legatus, a group of Catholic CEO’s and business owners started by Tom Monaghan (founder of Domino’s Pizza.). Keith is also the chairman of the Washington DC-based Men’s Leadership Forum, a group he founded five years ago to address the dichotomy between the faith many profess and the practice of it in their daily lives. The group invites high profile public figures to speak about their faith and how that faith has helped them in the exercise of their daily duties.
Keith and his three brothers and three sisters grew up in a Navy family, moving often before settling in Virginia Beach when he was nine years old. He and his wife are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters and reside in Northern Virginia.
