- I’m currently a Sophomore at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia where I Major in Political Science. I have always been politically oriented, becoming more involved as I got older. In the summer of 2008, I interned for Former U.S. Senator John Warner and this past summer (2009) I did the same for Virginia Lt. Governor Bill Bolling. I consider myself to be more of a Conservative than a Republican, and my political idols are Indira Ghandi, Lech Walesa, Fred Thompson, Sarah Palin and Margaret Thatcher. I hope to one day run for elected office.
