Virginia Is Taking On The Feds

A new campaign called the Virginia 10th Amendment Revolution is sweeping the state of Virginia. This movement is targeting the federal government’s over-reaching powers not delegated to it by the states.

Citizen activist groups are banding together to take this revolution to the 2010 legislative session of the Virginia General Assembly. They are calling on legislators to defend state’s rights under the 10th amendment with the Virginia Firearms Freedom Act (VFFA) and the Virginia… Continue

Campaign for Liberty at Shad Planking and the Richmond Tea Party

Shad Planking drew a smaller than expected croud due to the cool, damp weather. Democrat gubernatorial hopeful, Terry McAuliffe, was the clear winner in the sign war.

We received a very warm welcome by many conservatives and signed on some new members as well as getting some signed petitions for Ron Paul's HB1207. Dangerous ID Is On Delegate Clay Athey's Radar

On January 6, 2009, Delegate Clay Athey, Chairman of the Republican Policy Committee, addressed the failure of Republican commitment to conservative principles. His letter calls on Republicans to pull out of the nationalized Real ID system saying "No Virginian should be forced to give fingerprints, retina scans, medical information and more to a federal databank in order to drive a car, fly on an airplane or book a motel room. And no Virginia tax money should be spent to force them to do… Continue

Stop Dangerous ID (the so-called Real ID scam)

Dear Patriots.

In 2005 the United States Congress passed the Real ID Act, renamed Dangerous ID by Virginia activists. According to the legislation, your state issued driver's license will be turned into a national ID card and will be required for access to many functions of society and will reveal your name, birth date, sex, ID number, and a digital photograph of you, at a minimum. In response to unprecedented resistance from the states, the Department of Homeland Security's deadline… Continue
