Why?
That is the question I ask myself every morning.
Why is America so desperate for 'change we can believe in?'
I believe it is no longer about change, it has turned into fame.
The media needs to stop publisizing Obamas every move. I do not care about his race. He's the president. His job is to make sure we live in a respected, economical country. Unfortunatly I think a big part of his victory was due to his race. What most Obama supporters do not realize is he is also half white. I do not care if he drives his children to school. I do not want to dress like Michelle Obama. I'd rather find out ways to NOT dress like her. I do not care if the Obamas are getting a dog. I do not care what breed. I do not care where they get it from. All in all, I DON'T CARE! That does not concern me or anyone else but their family what so ever. So why is everyone glued to their TVs every morning 'ohhing and awing' because Obamas such a family guy??

Obama has the drive and the nerve to become president all for the fame. His policies are filled with so much crap it's not funny.
Why must we live in a world of socialism yet again?
Isn't this EXACTLY like what we tried to get away from in the 1700's, when the king ruled our every step??
Wasn't America once the country people came running to for freedom?? America was the ideal country for children to grow up in. Immigrants rushing left and right to become citizens and to live here. As our economy decreases, could this effect immigration tolls??

Our founding fathers would be extremely dissapointed with what our government is today. It goes against all of their beliefs.
When people stop 'drinking the kool-aid' and finally start realizing what this guy is all about, could this really spark another Civil War?

I am in utter disbelief. This guy wants to give people the hope for the american dream and all hes going to be doing is ripping it in shreds.

I can tell you now, you might as well enjoy our 'terrible' economy. This recession we're in, is going to look like the Victorian era by the time Obamas 'stimulous package' comes into play. It's supposedly going to create jobs for everyone, but what people don't realize is, the government just wants an excuse to spend money on useless nonsense.
$27 million on STD prevention. Heres some advice, USE A CONDOM!
$30 million to protect a rat in Nancy Pelosi's neighborhood- BUY SOME DANG CHEESE!
$400,000 to combat bullying in schools- Schools have guidence offices for a reason.
$207,000 for a tatoo removal program JUST IN LA- If you don't want them when your 90 years old, DON'T GET THEM!
The list just goes on and on.
How in the word is this going to create jobs?! It makes no sense.
Is this guy serious? Really. I think he has some issues he's needing (depseratly) to get checked out.

When Obamas time in office ends(counting down the days..), we'll be so dependant on the government, we'll be asking them to brush our teeth for us.

I don't want to turn on the news and see Barack Obamas face with a caption under it saying 'The voice of change.'
His platform is true though. I'll give him credit for that. I'm seeing change. A lot of it, but not change I can believe in. He needs to change it to 'Change our children will be paying for.'
I'm 13 right now. Once I get a job in a couple years, I'll be protecting a rat with the $30 million I'll be having to pay back because of this ridiculous package.

What a great post.. Yes, I also believe color had more to do with his being elected than his experience or his character. The media did not do its job in exposing him for who he was and the average American who doesn't watch cable and didn't research his associations themselves, did not understand what a danger to our counry the man would be. So sad this is what our country has come to, voting for the "American" idol President who speaks well and is young.

Thank you, you are an asset to the coummuntiy and the country. Keep up the good work.

I have to admit I was floored at the end of this post when I saw that it was coming from a 13 year old. When I was your age I was fortunate enough to be growing up in the age of Ronald Reagan. It was during this time that my conservative beliefs began to form.

We have a group on here called conservatives against media bias that you should check out. I wasn't alive but from what I understand this was very similar to when John F Kennedy was in office. We followed their everymove. Then again it was not entirely different for the Clintons but for a different reason.

I too am sick of hearing about what they wear, what a wonderful family they are and the new $10,000 dollar dress that is wife is wearing. I don't get the feeling it's going to change though. Try to get past that and stay focused on the principles. I also recomment reading "The 5000 Year Leap." Great book on the founding fathers.

I'd be curious to hear what kind of feedback you get from your peers on the Obamas.
