Ahh yes let's go after the Republicans for influence-peddling. I'm sure that no one has an agenda for helping Democrats take over the State's House of Delegates would they? However, since we are talking about influence-peddling at this level, let's discus and investigate 95th District House of Delegates Mamye BeCote and 2nd District State Senator Mamie Locke, both professors at Hampton University. They both have pushed and voted on legislation that benefits their university employer. Not only that but they both use their positions as educators to make their students help them in their campaigns by offering the students extra credit for working on their campaigns. I’m sure there is no ethic violation for doing that is there? Oh, I’m sorry, they are Democrats and they're allowed to influence-peddle and use their bully pulpit to advance their personal agenda and enrich themselves and expand their personal political power. How stupid of me!
