Top Obama priority: U.S. funding for murder of foreign children

The Los Angeles Times reports today the President Barack Obama plans to rescind a ruling which prohibits using U.S. taxpayer funding for the performance of abortions in other countries, or counseling women in other countries to obtain an abortion. According to the Times, "opponents of the funding ban said they had learned through the U.S. Agency for International Development that preparations were underway to lift the restrictions within a week of the inauguration." One could object to this expenditure merely on the grounds that the constitution no where authorizes the congress to make such an appropriation. One could object to this expenditure on the grounds that the funding of abortions abroad is not the business of the American taxpayer. One could object to this expenditure on the grounds Mr. Obama himself sets forth, that "all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness" without being slaughtered in the womb. But Mr. Obama far from adhering to the constitution he swore to uphold this very day, far from adhering to any sense of morality derived from the religion he claims to adhere to, far from promoting the life and happiness of the world's children, instead intends to supply the means of the destruction of the most innocent.

In his inagural address today Mr. Obama noted:
"We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things." Apparently it is the children he intends to set aside by funding their murder.
