I don't have a lot of faith in our Democrat controlled Senate. Our own Senators seem to be on the side of the liberals regarding healthcare if the form letter responses I am getting are any indication.

Lets hope the senate votes the bill down.

The President can sign it, but the Copenhagen Treaty doesn't go into force unless the Senate ratifies the treaty with a 2/3 vote. Obama cannot appoint another "Czar" to avoid Senate ratification of a treaty. So, again, the battleground moves to the Senate, just as the Constitution intended.

Linda you are so right. It's easy to connect the dots between the healthcare bill, Cap & Trade and the U.N. Agenda 21. Here's a video I received recently.
I did a little more research and found the document laying out Agenda 21 on the U.N.'s own website.
We'd better pray Obama doesn't sign that Copenhagen Treaty in December.

The health care bill is only a symptom of what is really going on in America.I will make a new posting soon in order to share about the invitation I received to attend a meeting of the communist party in Norfolk.

Sorry, I sent my message to the group rather than on the comment wall. I'm sorry. But I will repeat myself - I am so angry they would push this bill through when it has been made plain the American people do not want to be taken over. I will fight as hard as I can to persuade the senate not to approve this or any other nationalized health plan.

Well, now our efforts must move to the Senate to stop this monster.

To make this hare-brained socialized medicine scheme work, the Democrats must accomplish some interesting goals which we should bring up and use to our advantage, to wit:

1. Elderly Americans have the most money of any demographic group. The myth of the elderly poor eating dog food is mostly just that, a myth.

2. The elderly consume the greatest amount of expensive health care procedures as they approach the end of their lives. The Democrats want to control access to these life-saving and expensive procedures.

3. To make their scheme work, the Democrats must take the money away from the elderly AND limit the elderly generation's access to expensive health care procedures.

4. One of the President's many non-appointed "Czars", Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, has developed a rationed health care calculus. In his plan he proposes that medical procedures be rationed in favor of younger adults, limiting care for sick babies and the elderly. The common denominator is that medical care should be focused on those with the most "useful life-years" remaining. Clearly this fits in with the necessity to get the elderly generation's money away from them AND limit their ability to purchase expensive health-care with that same money.

5. One reason the Democrats DO NOT want to deny access to illegal aliens is that they are mostly younger adults who will be sure to vote Democratic after the Democrats give them amnesty. And they'll be repaid for their votes with access to free health care in a system into which they haven't paid a single legal dime's contribution.

Great, eh? I love it when a plan comes together.

Tenth Amendment bills are a good start. The Virginia Campaign for Liberty has two 10th Amendment bills we are in the process of finding sponsors for in the Virginia House and Senate. Many states across the country have either passed, introduced, or intend to introduce such legislation. We will hold a 10th Amendment Rally on January 18th at the Virginia Capital Bell Tower from 1 - 2PM.

States may have to declare independene from federal government.

The House Democrats' health-care bill could impose penalties of up to $250,000 in fines and five years in jail for failing to buy the proper insurance coverage. This mandate will also cost many jobs. Small businesses will go under.

Can you imagine young parents losing their jobs and having to opt to feed the family rather than purchase healthcare and being hauled off to jail while their small children watch in horror?

Our Senators will likely vote for the government healthcare takeover.

Our state legislators, Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General will have
quite a fight ahead as the citizens push for 10th amendment solutions to address these horrifying federal mandates. I hope they have the backbone
for it.
